Bridget Nicolo (she/her) is a Somerville-based dance artist. Her recent practice has been informed and inspired by swaying and stopping and stepping in different places. Bridget has performed in works throughout the US and Europe by artists such as Spencer Theberge, Cindy Welik-Salgado, Katie Pustizzi, and DeAnna Pellecchia. Bridget has previously trained under little house dance (Portland, ME), Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance (Seattle, WA), and KAIROS Dance Theater (Boston, MA).

In 2025, Bridget became a company dancer with Boston-based eco-dance company Liquid Spine under Director Katie Pustizzi. She also works as an outreach intern and teaching artist for the company. Her teaching practice is rooted in holding contradictions true within the body, and arriving into dance spaces with tenderness and authenticity.

As a choreographer, her work is concerned with an exploration of corporeal truths, drawing upon influence from postmodern literature and philosophical thought. Her works have been presented by The Dance Complex (MA), Human Movement Lab (MA), American University (DC) and more.
